Companies Changing the World

Did you know that 18 billion pounds of plastic end up in the ocean every year? That alone makes up 80% of all marine debris found from surface waters to deep-sea sediments. Here on my page, World Health Wednesdays are to bring attention to problems we are having in the world and me giving ways we as a community can help fight these problems. An organization that is great and helps with ocean clean-up, is 4Ocean. They make bracelets out of recycled bottles and plastic that are found in the sea. All of their funding goes straight to cleaning up the sea. For every purchase of a bracelet, 1 pound of trash is pulled out of the sea. Since its organization started in 2017, they have removed more than 20 million pounds of trash from our oceans. Check out
